You'd think by a superficial look at the site that the story is a period piece in black and white. That's not a bad start. Maybe you'd guess that it's SILENT. Why else the title? That's a very clever guess.

Unfortunately, if we wanted to tell you the story, we'd probably have written a book. Instead we've made a film.

For the moment we can let you look over our shoulder at the production of one element of an involved story anchored in humor, parody, mystery, romance and horror.

In addition, there is a strong element of history running through the story which is reflected in the very choice of locations and character types.

Like a Shakespearean play there's lots of death and romance. Like a Mel Brooks stage production there's lots of humor and unexpected twists. And, like an Alfred Hitchcock story there's mystery and suspense at every one of those turns.

And yet -- this all happens within the story that you already think you know about! Where could we possibly go from here?

Watch closely -- not all unexpected twists come from behind you. Sometimes it was beside you all of the time.
