Press Releases

Silent seeks opportunities to film in some of the most pertinent and spectacular locations. In the past few months we have succeeded in doing just that.

Being open to community participation and it's permission to use its' own local history, Revscope files Press Releases at every shoot.

Many of these locations are hungry for the notoriety that a film may bring; some simply don't expect it. No expectation is lost on us. Their contributions, at any cost, are an opportunity not lost on us.

Boonton Falls & Morris Canal

One of the top ranked rivers in the eastern U.S., Boonton was also a primary site for the development and shooting of silent films. Two major credits of the town is the development of projector lighting and The Perils of Pauline.

Deserted Village

This 18th century Utopian community in the Wachung Reservation has been the backdrop for several films now. It lays claim to historical fame lies by being the very first planned community and workplace in New Jersey.

Waterloo Village

Madison Cemetery

This truly historic Presbyteryian cemetary in Madison with dated headstones and contemporary mausoleums has a heritage not shared with many other churches.
